Brexiteer radio host Nick Ferrari has turned on pro-Brexit supporter Sir James Dyson for choosing Singapore over Britain to build his new electric cars.

The LBC radio presenter was in disbelief that Dyson had chosen to take £16 million of taxpayers’ money for the development of a new electric car out of the country for development.

He also criticised the entrepreneur for avoiding media interviews about the decision.

Ferrari began by quoting past comments from Dyson about Britain’s future after Brexit.

‘And now the normally loquacious – that means talkative – Sir James is refusing to comment to the media…’

‘This is the man who’s consistently talked up Brexit.’

Ferrari continued to explain why he thought the decision was the wrong one.

‘I see Sir James, so you couldn’t be bothered to speak yesterday but you’re right and Geely, Nisan and BMW are all wrong and you’ve got half the way there with £16 million pounds worth of our money.

‘Good work Sir James.’

Dyson chief executive Jim Rowan said: ‘The decision of where to make our car is complex, based on supply chains, access to markets, and the availability of the expertise that will help us achieve our ambitions.’
