‘Good work Sir James’ – Brexiteer rants about Dyson’s Singapore decision

The LBC radio presenter was in disbelief that Dyson had chosen to take £16 million of taxpayers’ money for the development of a new electric car out of the country for development.

He also criticised the entrepreneur for avoiding media interviews about the decision.

Ferrari began by quoting past comments from Dyson about Britain’s future after Brexit.

‘Sir James Dyson in the Sun in August ‘let’s be bold and show a spirit of independence, enterprise, and optimism in regards to Brexit’.

‘James Dyson in Les Echos ‘car manufacturers complain all the time but there’s no problem without a solution’.

‘And now the normally loquacious – that means talkative – Sir James is refusing to comment to the media…’

‘This is the man who’s consistently talked up Brexit.’

Ferrari continued to explain why he thought the decision was the wrong one.

‘He says post-Brexit Britain is not the place to build electric vehicles.

‘Strangely Geely of China is building the hybrid London taxis and vans in Coventry.

‘Nisan is building the Leaf, the world’s best selling electric car in Sunderland and BMW will begin production of the electric Mini in Oxford.

‘I see Sir James, so you couldn’t be bothered to speak yesterday but you’re right and Geely, Nisan and BMW are all wrong and you’ve got half the way there with £16 million pounds worth of our money.
