Nigel Farage is to charge marchers FIFTY POUNDS to join pro-Brexit rally

Brexiteers that want to take part in Nigel Farage’s fourteen day march from Sunderland to London are being asked to pay £50 – which in return will provide them with a marchers’ kit.

Those that pay the fee will be able to march with Nigel Farage as a ‘core marcher’ bringing benefits including a special kit to prepare themselves.

For those that do not stump up the hefty payment they can still take part – but will be relegated to ‘cheerleader’ status.

A post on the March To Leave website announcing the event said: ‘To be one of the core marchers you will need to pay a one-off £50 payment via PayPal.

‘Being a core marcher means you will receive an official March to Leave kit to help you on the march.’

The kit includes a waterproof coat, beanie hat, gloves, water bottle, t-shirt, wristband and a high visibility blue jacket – perfect for the precious little snowflakes.

It adds that payment will include transportation to different parts of the march, as well as overnight accommodation.

It says: ‘If you are marching for two days or more we will provide accommodation, breakfast and dinner free of charge.

‘Fully paid travel once you arrive on the march. This includes transfers to and from the accommodation to both the start and finish points.’

Farage has become the face of the two week march between Sunderland and London – but it is not clear how much of it the outspoken Brexiteer will participate in.

A spokesman for Leave Means Leave said the march would allow ‘Brexiteers the chance to voice their deep disappointment at the ongoing betrayal of the referendum result.’

Farage said: ‘The Westminster elite are in the process of betraying the British people over Brexit. All of us who want Britain to be a great country once again accept that we must be prepared to stand up for what we believe in and fight for our independence.’

Writer Emma Kennedy tweeted: ‘You’re charging people £50, you’re not walking the whole way, you’re getting buses. So you’re not marching from Sunderland to London, are you? You’re cheating. Like you did in 2016.’

Best for Britain supporter Layla Moran MP said: ‘This is another ludicrous idea from Britain’s best-known charlatan.

‘A fourteen-day march sounds rough, especially one led by Nigel Farage. He’ll march his troops to the top of the hill where he’ll ask them to dive off the no deal cliff edge.’
