He’s been standing outside Parliament for months, he’s been appearing in every political interview for days.

While BBC News and other news channels have tried to cut him out of shots, a majority of presenters and guests have tried to ignore Steve Bray with his signs campaigning against Brexit and for a People’s Vote.

That was until BBC presenter Simon McCoy met European Research Group member and Brexiteer MP Steve Baker.

Asked about whether Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 committee, had 48 letters against Theresa May he turned to Bray to address him.

‘I just wanted to answer his question – yes it is worth it,’ he said pointing to the sign that says ‘Brexit: is it worth it?’

‘I know we disagree I just wanted to say you’ve followed me around and I just want to thank you for upholding democracy.’

Bray evidently disagreed responding with a remark about the Brexiteers.
